Avec un pont et des superstructures en teck de birmanie, les mâts et les bômes en spruce du Canada , Henry Gruber a réalisé un bateau à la fois luxueux et compétitif en régates. Il a plusieurs fois hésité sur le nom du bateau, le yacht a été enregistré sous le nom de Marie Pierre, puis Ashanti of Saba avant d'être définitivement baptisé. L'architecte d'intérieur Dee Robinson a réalisé tous les aménagements.
With a deck and superstructure made with Burmese teak, Masts and Booms in Canadian Spruce, Henry Gruber designed a boat combining luxury and sailing abilities to be competitive in regattas. The name of the boat itself seem to have been a puzzle for Gruber. The project was first registered as Aschanti, Marie Pierre, then Aschanti of Saba. The interior designer Dee Robinson made all the indoors outfit. Aschanti is regular on the mediterranean scene.
